Nestoil Wins Oil Services Manager Company Of The Year

On the ground of history of excellence performance, quality of equipment and number of projects successfully completed, foremost engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) services company, Nestoil, has emerged the Oil Service Project Manager Company of the Year.
The award was given at the 2016 BusinessDay-Oval Energy Oil & Gas Roundtable in Lagos. The indigenous pipeline construction company, over the past two decades, has proved its mettle in the industry through the execution of technically complex projects and enhanced clients’ operational efficiency.
These included the construction of Edjeba Sewage Treatment Plan in Warri, OB3 (Obiafu/Obrikom to Oben) 48” diameter gas pipeline for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), 24” diameter Nember-Cawthorne Channel Trunckline (NCTL) for Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), and installation of the 2.5km Escravos River Cross as part of the OML42 oil export pipeline network construction for the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC).
Appreciating the honour, the Group Managing Director, Dr. Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi, said it is “a recognition that will inspire Nestoil Limited and its sister companies to sustain their outstanding performance and innovations.”
Azudialu-Obiejesi, who spoke through the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Chukwueloka Umeh, who received the award on behalf of the company, urged the oil and gas sector to showcase its potentials to investors. He said: “As players in this sub-sector of the economy, we have a duty to highlight its potentials to the world. We all know that Nigeria is currently undergoing a process of rebirth that will bring prosperity to everyone.
“As Nigerians, we have a responsibility to help the world understand this and showcase the opportunities that come with the transformation. Nestoil is a part of The Obijackson Group which has been operating in Nigeria for over three decades.
“In providing our services, which include pressure vessel fabrication, civil and road construction, pipeline construction, dredging and marine logistic services, dry-docking, aviation services, oil and gas exploration and production as well as power generation, we have consistently demonstrated commitment to the growth of the Nigerian nation.”
