Dr Orji Kalu:A True Leader With Emphasis On His Relationship With People , By Oruru Eunice

 When I took out my time to write this piece,firstly I said to myself that one  great quality a true leader must have is to be Reliable,Acceptable and above all accessible. We have great prominent leaders in the world both past and present mostly great leaders like father of all nation Nelson Mandela,Abraham Lincoln,Queen Elizabeth,Pope of the world,Martin Luther king Jnr,Malcom x and many others .What makes them great leaders is the ability to allow people they are leading gain access to them in order to create a platform were they can hear this people air their views,make observations,give their conticism,,contributions and gratitude.  Good leadership is based on solid relationships. If Nelson Mandela have not granted Dr orji uzor kalu access to see him, Dr orji uzor kalu would not have learnt his great inspirational and motivational words of wisdom from him. Again if Bill Clinton also did not grant Dr orji uzor kalu access to him,He would not have learnt some leadership traits from him. “People won’t go along with you if they can’t get along with you.” That is to show if your leadership qualities is a bad or good influeuce on the people you are leading.

   In Nigeria today,people find it difficult to gain access into the lowest office of the ones they call leader,not to talk much of how it will be so inaccessible for them to reach those ones on top. Now how do you expect a leader to do well in office when he cannot reachout to his people easily and know what their challenges are?. Dr orji uzor kalu is one true great leader from the eastern part of Nigeria that always grant people access to see him, I am not from the east nor from his state but i have been opportuned and priviledged  to interact with a former governor,while over here in my state Delta,i have not met a commission not more of my own governor,even when you are able to get their numbers,it will always not be reachable. 

   Dr orji uzor kalu picks his call, chat on social media, replies text messages above all allow people connect to him while he connects with them freely. In the northern part of the country he is loved, southern part ,western part and the eastern part he is loved by all and this arises to the facts of him being a down to earth leader that interacts and allow people to gain access to him. Let our leaders learn to emulate Great Leaders like Dr orji uzor kalu,Asiwaju bola Ahmed Tinubu,Atiku Abubakar and many others that are down to earth. Dr orji uzor kalu as a true fearless leaders said ” when someone treat you like you’re just one of many options,help them narrow their choices by removing yourself from the equation. Sometimes you have to try not to care ,no matter how much you do.Because sometimes, you can mean almost nothing to someone who means so much. It’s not pride, it’s self respect .  

Don’t expect to see positive changes in your life if you surround yourself with negative people. Don’t give part time people a full time position in your life . Know your value and what you have to offer, and never settle for anything less than you deserve,and above all allow people to gain access to you.to this end,am proud to say I see Dr orji uzor kalu as the Abraham Lincoln, and Martin Luther King Jnr of our time.
