Aishat Buhari In US To Attend UN 71st Session General Assembly
The First Lady, Aisha Buhari, will on Monday, meet with United Nations hosted organisation, Stop TB Partnership at the 71st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 71).
Stop TB Partnership promotes the eradication of Tuberculosis world wide.
A statement by her aide, Zaynab Kassim, read:
(Aisha) Buhari who is an ambassador of the Stop TB campaign has decried the position of Nigeria as having the highest rates of TB and the lowest detection rates.
This meeting is part of a series of meetings Mrs Buhari will be attending as part of her week long visit to the 71st United Nations General Assembly.
President Muhammadu Buhari is already in New York for the 71st session of the Assembly.
