Dignitaries Honour Princess Toyin Kolade @ Mother’s Funeral….As Ayefele, K-1 Thrill Guests [Plus Photos]
The final burial ceremony of Princess Comfort Folorunso Adejuyigbe J.P, the mother of popular businesswoman and society lady, Princess Toyin Kolade will for a very long time continue to be the talk of the town, not only in the Ilesa town, environs but across the State and society circle. This is because the event which took place majorly between Friday 28th April and Saturday 29th April witnessed prominent personalities from every sector of life including Political, Business,Entertainment, Media, Royalty among others.
The activity which started with the Christian Wake Keep at the Alas Comfort Folorunso Close Agric Road, Stadium, Oke Ibunkun Ilesha was followed with the main burial services the next day.The Outing Services for the Late Mother was held at C&S Church Oke Oye District Headquaters, Oke Oye before the carnival-like eventful reception/entertainment now commences at the Kings Mega Event Centre, Ilesha.
The distinguish popularity and philanthropist nature of Princess Toyin Kolade fondly known as Iyalaje of Apapa was obviously on display as lots female guests adorn the purple and white lace regardless of the expensive nature. Some Male guests on the other hand wore the a very cool white aso-ebi lace while the majority of other guests in thousands wore the Purple ankara aso-ebi. Famous musician, Yinka Ayefele was at his best performing througout the day while another reception was held at the newly built country-home Mrs Kolade with King of Fuji, Wasiu Aynde on hand till early hours of Sunday.
The event witnessed the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi who was represented by Olori Wuraola, Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo, Olu of Itori among other royal fathers in attendance. Lanre Hassan Iya Awero led other Artistes like Fathia Balogun-Williams, Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Adegbola, Bisi Omo-Logbalogba, Lizzy Anjorin, Saheed Balogun and lots of other Nollywood stars to honour Mrs Kolade. The ceremony also has in attendance top Customs Officers, Freight-forwarders, Clearing Agents from Apapa, A-list Society personalities and Politicians to mention but few.
