9th National Assembly: Boroffice joins race for Deputy Senate President
The representative of Ondo North Senatorial District, Senator Ajayi Boroffice, has declared his intention to contest for the Deputy Senate President seat in the ninth National Assembly.
Boroffice’s declaration was made known in a letter written to incoming senators soliciting for their support.
Boroffice, in a letter he personally signed, said: “With an excellent public service record, rich legislative experience and amiable personae, I consider myself the best candidate for the office of Deputy Senate President.
“In spite of our different backgrounds, religious beliefs and political inclinations, the business of National lawmaking has pulled us together as friends and colleagues.“In this light, I humbly seek your cooperation, support and prayers in this election. Together we shall succeed.”
