CRISIS LOOM AS LAGOS MONARCH SON THREATEN, DETAINS CDA CHAIRMAN

The residents of Gloryland and Graceland communities in Isheri Olofin, Egbe Idimu LCDA, Lagos state have called on police authorities to save them from alleged harassment in the hands of Mr Idris Balogun, son of the traditional ruler of Isheri-olofin, Oba Wahaab Balogun.
A leader in the community who preferred to be anonymous told our correspondent that Idriz Balogun popularly called ‘Oluomo’ allegedly connived with the police in Idimu station to detain the chairman of Gloryland community association, Barrister Ekwe Ejesie over a media report on acts of lawlessness being perpetrated by Idris Balogun.
According to the community leader, Ejesie was detained at the Idimu Police station for about six hours ove a frivolous allegation leveled against him by the Oba’s son.
Mr Ejesie was released by the police on self recognition.
The anonymous community leader also alleged that Mr. Idris Balogun had on numerous occasions threatened and intimidated residents at will and created an atmosphere of fear.
The community leader also called on Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to prevail on the traditional ruler of Isheri Olofin to call his son to order and stop harassing residents
