Bye-Election: Lagos Assembly Candidate, Femi Saheed, Dissociate Self From Individual Requesting Voters PVC Details For Palliatives

The candidate of All Progressive Congress in the forthcoming Lagos State House of Assembly Bye-election, Hon Femi Saheed has disscociated himself from a particular individual in the area requesting for personal identities of potential voters in the constituency before giving them some palliatives. The former Acting Secretary of APC in the State in a disclaimer he personally signed, stated that he did not have any relationship with the person and as such, urged his supporters to be wary of such antic, which is against extant electoral laws in the Country.

My attention has been drawn to the purported distribution of palliatives in my name within Agboyi-Ketu LCDA by an unknown individual, who pleaded to remain anonymous. He/she requests interested persons to send details of their PVC

phone numbers as requirements to claim the unknown package.

Let me state clearly that I do not know this individual, neither have I directed anyone to get details of  PVC. I hereby dissociate myself from such, as it is against the extant provisions of the conduct of elections. I implore my supporters, party members, friends, well wishers and the general public to remain vigilant, conscious and watchful as we inch closer to the Bye-Elections.
