DISTRIBUTION OF SIJU ILUYOMADE’S ‘ARISE PINK BUCKET’ MOVES TO AGEGE, RESIDENTS APPLAUD INITIATIVE
Thousands of residents of Agege environs in Lagos converged in the heart of the city to benefit from the good gesture of Dr Siju Iluyomade’s Arise Women Foundation. The goodwill which is tagged ‘Arise Pink Bucket’, is designed to assist the less privileged with food palliatives in this very harsh economy. The initiative is part of Arise activities in celebration of its 12year anniversary of impacting many lives across the country through different empowerment, skill acquisition, enlightenment programmes and so many activities to support the effort of government.
Arise Pink Bucket comprises of food stuffs like rice, spaghetti groundnut oil, tomato paste etc. The Agege distribution of the food stuff which coincidentally falls timely within the Christmas season is coming after similar gesture was extended to Epe, Surulere, Lagos Island and Ikorodu is in continuation of plans by Arise Women to make sure the palliatives goes across all local government in the State.
