7Months In Office: Hon Femi Saheed Distributes Chairs, Tables To Over 20 Schools In His Constituency

Constituents and Leaders of All Progressive Congress around Agboyi-Ketu and Kosofe Constituency 1 have showered praises on their representative at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Femi Saheed for starting on a good footing, to deliver dividends of democracy to its community.

This is coming on the heels of his pragmatic thinking of supporting the efforts of State Government in the educational sector by providing furnitures; Chairs and Tables to over 20 Schools within the Constituency. The event held in Agility area of the community comes under the Politician’s ‘Seat and Write’ Project. According to Hon Saheed, who is the Chairman of Lagos State House Committee on Central Business District (CBD), the project will be a regular intervention to support government and aid young pupils going to school as well as writing in a convenient position.

The event which was the first of many social assistance coming from the stable Hon Saheed who has only spent 7months in the office after his election to complete the second term of Hon Tunde Braimoh who died last year, marks a good beginning as regards his social pact with the people.

In his words after the official delivering of the furniture to representative of Execitive Secretary of the Council Education board, “this was done to support efforts of our State Government in the education sectors and because I live within their midst with many of my families among the pupils, I know where the shoes pinches them. It’s not stopping there, it will be a regular intervention, including provisions of writing materials to support our parents. We will also get an 18seater-bus to assist in conveying those that lives far from their Schools”
