Fuji Music Promotes Our Traditional Uniqueness, Says Muftau Adekunle Adisa Sabaika In New Album Release

One of the traditional multi-talented and sought after Fuji musicians, Alhaji Muftau Adekunle Adisa ‘Sabaika’ is set to release his new album titled Greenlight ’ on Sunday, February 28 2024 with a glamorous and razzmatazz that will bring his mentor music star Alh Sule Alao Malaika, and many others together in a spirit of celebration of the genre.

Alhaji Muftau ADEYEMI Adekunle Adisa will host his fans at the Capitiano Hotel and suites in Egbe Ikotun, Lagos to release th album laced with many thought-provoking songs of wisdom.

The musician started his music career at a very tender age,he says his mentor Alhaji Sule Alao Malaika shaped his career

The amiable music exponent, popularly known as “sabaika” on account of his traditional style of music has spent many years on stage and has seen the good and downside of being a musician.

He noted that Fuji music is relevant to the ordinary people and the mighty because it is simple and cuts across all ages.

Speaking on his career and longetity Adisa says “It is by the grace of Allah that I am still here doing what I love best, singing. My career secret is that only God can make things happen in one’s life and career. I have been blessed by almighty Allah to have started my music very early..

“I have been able to forge ahead doing Fuji music and mentoring other younger musicians because of my humble nature as I am known as a musician that give respect to elders

I have enjoyed the patronage of so many socialites and I thank God that I have made a success of my life and has travelled around the world,”i just returned on European tour from the United Kingdom,where i played in several cities Manchester, Scotland,Birmham, Sheffield,Woolich,and other cities in the United Kingdom. All this were facilitated by Godfather promotion management of Nija FM in London,i also gave kudos to Angel promotions, Mumbai promotion,and effort of Gmen club of Manchester and sunny pa,I was privileged to perform at the 56th Birthday of Alhaji Wasiu pasuma in London,also I performed alongside Alhaji Shefiu Alao at Alhaji Gaji Birthday in London,Alhaji Sule Alao Atawewe and my friend Remi Aluko Igwe were all of great support to me in London. According to Alhaji Adisa his kind of music is traditional music with cultural uniqueness which is what makes each culture different from others, traditional music is sensitive and the development of the Awareness of different culture which encourage style of artistic is a medium which is unique to our audience,this makes our demand higher in Europe and America.
