LAGOS DEPUTY MAJORITY LEADER, HON. KASUNMU CONGRATULATES DR. DAYO MOBEREOLA ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS NIMASA DG*

The Deputy Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (a.k.a ARK) has congratulated former Lagos Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. DAYO MOBEREOLA on his appointment as the new Director General of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
A globally renowned Transportation technocrat, the appointment of Dr. Mobereola, who once served as the Managing Director of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) was announced today March 12, 2024 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a congratulatory message signed by Hon. Kasunmu, the Deputy Majority Leader described his appointment as a “Square peg in a Square hole”.
Hon. Kasunmu commended Mr. President for his thoughtfulness and prayed for Mobereola’s success in his new role.

My Dear Egbon,
This is to heartily Congratulate you on your well-deserved appointment as the Director General of one of Nigeria’s strategic agencies, the Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

Without doubt, this is another square peg in a square hole appointment by Mr. President, and the reasons are clear: your record of revolutionary initiatives, people-centred innovations, world-class infrastructure and exemplary performances in the transportation sector of Lagos State in the last two decades have remained the outstanding benchmark and template for other states and many African nations to understudy and copy.

Therefore, I have no doubt that, with your headship of NIMASA, the agency is set to experience novel innovations, total repositioning, effective administration and many more goodies, that will not only place NIMASA on the world map of first class global transportation organizations but also, stand it out as a frontline purveyor of Mr President’s Renewal Hope Agenda.
