Obiano’s Wife Support Over 350 Small Scale Entrepreneurs
OVER Three hundred and fifty (350) trained small-scale entrepreneurs are to commence their business careers as the Wife of the Governor, Dr (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano has presented various start-off tools and cash to them at the Governor’s Lodge, Anambra.
The beneficiaries who are, the fifth batch since the inception of the skills acquisition programme in twenty-fourteen, had previously undergone six-weeks of successful intensive training on various chosen enterprises, including bakery, soap making, tailoring and fashion design, computer repair and hairdressing.
Total of four thousand three hundred and fifty persons have so far been empowered through the initiative, which is a paramount branch of the Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFE, the Governor’s Wife’s social intervention programme.
The equipment donated to the beneficiaries include sewing machines, baking tools, hair dryers, ovens, computer sets amongst others.
