Following Aledeh’s Exclusive on disquiet in the EFCC over the deployment of over 100 fresh Police cadets to the anti-graft agency, an immediate step seem to have been taken to correct this anomaly.

Aledeh can report that the Police cadets have been asked to stand down and report to the FCT Command of the Nigeria Police Force. This new directive has caused some joy especially among core EFCC staff who were worried as the erstwhile move would have taken the agency back to the woods.

There were reactions generated from the story by Aledeh, with senior officials of the anti-graft agency expressing displeasure over the recent moves made by the Chairman of the Commission, Ibrahim Magu.

The cadets have been deemed too inexperienced for such a technical job as EFCC’s and have been ordered back to the Police.

This is a developing story. More updates as soon as we have it
