PSG’S BLAISE MATUIDI TO REPLACE MIKEL AT CHELSEA

English giant,Chelsea are reportedly eyeing the £30 million transfer of Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi to replace midfielder John Obi Mikel.

Mikel has struggled for game-time under Jose Mourinho in recent months and, according to the Daily Star, the Blues boss is keen to replace the 28-year-old.

And it is thought Matuidi, 28, has emerged as Mourinho’s number one target to replace Mikel despite the France international being tied into a contract at PSG until 2018.

The Ligue 1 giants, though, put up some resistance before deciding to sell a player who is integral to their plans going for forward.
