O’JEZ HOST,REWARDS TRIUMPHANT ASOJU-OBA TABLE TENNIS ACADEMY PLAYERS
Chief Joseph Odobeatu, the MD/CEO of O’jez Group yesterday put smiles on the faces of his O’jez Table Tennis Club Players who shone like million stars recently at the 47th Edition of Asoju-Oba Table Tennis Championship held in Lagos. The event held at the O’jez Chinese Restaurant inside the National Stadium, Lagos was inline with his earlier promise to reward the players with Cash prizes if they came out victorious. The O’jez Academy players were the cynosure of all eyes at the tournament with two of the Club players Taye Adeyinka Ahmed, the eventual winner and Ayo Omotara in involved in a very dramatic Men Single Final that wowed the audience till end. Other Categories including Cadets Champion which saw Jamiu Ayanwale winning couple of honours, he was also given Scholarship by the Lagos State Government for his inspiring talent.In all, about 20 categories including Mix-Double were all rewarded with cash gift by the Proprietor of the Club, Chief Odobeatu. Meanwhile, the O’jez group is also taking bold step with plans to sponsor and develop young talent in Boxing and Swimming.
