Amosun Felicitates with Akeredolu at 61

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has felicitated with his Ondo State counterpart, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, who turned 61 yesterday (July 21).
 
In a letter to Akeredolu, Amosun said, “on behalf of my family and the good people of Ogun State, I wish you well and pray that the Almighty God continue to guide, guard and prosper you, even as He blesses you with many more years of fulfilment.
 
“Your rising political and public service profile, since you served as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Ondo State, between 1997 and 1999; Chairman, Legal Aid Council, between 2005 and 2006 and President, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in 2008, is a testimony to your forthrightness, diligence and doggedness.
 
“These qualities endeared you to the electorate and gave you allround success as the winner of the November 26, 2016 Governorship election in Ondo State”, the governor added. 
 
He said Akeredolu’s patriotism and commitment to democracy and good governance will always be remembered and appreciated by the people of Ondo State in particular and Nigerians in general.
 
He prayed that the Almighty God will grant the Ondo State governor long life, good health, wisdom and prosperity.
