Amosun, Tambuwal & Ambode for NIA’s Most Supportive Wife of the Governor

                                                                                                                                                                          The wives of the governors of Ogun, Lagos and Sokoto states are the contending nominees of the 5th Nigeria Impact Awards category for ‘Most Supportive Wife of the Governor’.
 
In a statement released and signed by Bunmi Obarotimi; the Media &Corporate Relations Executive of the award in Lagos this morning. NIA described the three governors’ wives as ‘the pillar of support needed to propagate good governance in the 21stcentury’.
 
‘We are delighted to emphasize again the nomination of Mrs Olufunsho Amosun, Mrs Bolanle Ambode and Hajia Maryam Tambuwal; these three women have shown great support, unpredictable courage and unrelenting tenacity in their support for their husband political journey over the years’
 
‘Amosun’s wife has through her uplift program consolidated the works of her husband in getting dividend of democracy to the youth and women folks, just like Mrs Ambode has created great awareness for feminism in governance and great love for children through her sustenance of the ‘A day governor in Lagos’ project and many other initiatives of hers’
 
‘Hajia Tambuwal last year showed great compassion for prison inmates and ever since then her image and public reputation has soared across the Northern region of the country and these will feel deserves commendation’
 
‘We trust the public to speak who goes home with the award in November’ the statement concluded.
