Anisulowo: Police Offer N5M Reward For Information On Kidnappers

The Ogun State Police Command has offered a N5 million reward to any informant(s)  who has useful information for the police on the kidnapping of the former Senator and Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Iyabo Anisulowo.
Anisulowo was kidnapped recently at Sawonjo/Iganokoto area of Ogun State.
The Commissioner of Police in charge of Ogun State, Abdulmajid Ali, made the N5 million offer on Monday in Abeokuta after a security meeting with some officers of the command and other security chiefs.
The other security chiefs who were present at the meeting included the Commander of 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Alamala, Abeokuta, Brigadier General S. Danwalis; and the Director of the Department of State Services in Ogun State, Kabir Sanni.
Ali appealed to the general public to support the police and give useful information that can assist in the rescue operation of the kidnapped victim.
A statement on Monday by the police said anyone with reliable information can get across to Ali on 09020911911 or the spokesperson of the Ogun State Police Command, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi on 08081774631, or the Officer-in-Charge of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, CSP Gbenga Megbope on 08081766937 or any other security agency around him.
Ali assured any informant of adequate confidentiality and security as every information on this will be made confidential.
