As 5th December inches closer, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Kosofe Constituency II, Femi Saheed is still on massive campaign trail. The candidate who has been tagged “Mr. Everywhere” met with Omole Phase II Residents Association and Magodo Phase 1 Central CDA.
At Omole Phase II, the session which was rather virtual had residents in  hundreds connected via the zoom application. The chairman of the CDA, Mr. Dele Olanisa introduced the candidate to members of the CDA and further requested him to speak to residents within specified time. The candidate rolled out his 3Ps i.e. Profile,  Programmes and Plans  to the residents.
His commanding control of the audience plus deft knowledge of the environment ensured his acceptance by the residents. The questions and answers session presented another round of fascination, as resident highlighted the needs of the communities within the estate. Major amongst these needs were the construction of inner roads within the estate.
The candidate whose pride is his constituency  intelligently answered their questions whilst making his duties as a legislator clearer.
” The needs of Omole Phase II are not impossible. Infact, they are very possible. However, permit me to explicitly state that there exists a dichotomy between the two arms of government. However, I will use my capacity as a legislator to lobby and persuade my colleagues at the House to bring this development  to fruition. I will also engage with the Chairman of the council, who since she came on board has fixed about seven roads within the LCDA.”
At Magodo Phase 1 Central CDA, Mr. Oyeleke Atoyebi alongside members of the excos discussed governance at large. The residence engaged the candidate on budget allocation, devolution of power, restructuring, community policing amongst many other national and state issues. The session was indeed worthwhile even as resident expressed total acceptance of the candidate and further pledged support to his course.
