Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting: Leaders Hails Hon Braimoh, Calls For More Dividends Of Democracy

The second edition of Lagos State Assembly Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting for Hon Tunde Braimoh, who represents Kosofe 11 was held today amidst excitement, commendation as well as request from constituents who trooped out to engage their representative.The special stakeholders meeting which was designed by Lagos House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker, Lagos House of Assembly was prompted to brief Constituents across the State simultaneously on activities of Assembly in the last one year as well as engage them on projects they need to develop their area. Hosting his second edition at the Council Secretariat of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Hon Braimoh, the Chairman, House Committee on Information & Strategy was full of praises to  members of his constituency who all came out to participate in the event with the theme: “Community/Neighborhood Policing Starts With You” .

The event which lasted over five exhaustive hours saw Traditional rulers, Community leaders, Political leaders, Religious groups, Market women, leaders from the Arewa as well as Igbo groups all present to interact with their Representative Hon Braimoh on some of the needs of the Constituency which will be documented for onward delivery to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode who has promised substantial development of every Local Government in the State.

The outcome of the event according Hon Braimoh, ” just like we discussed during the first edition, we saw the results, many of what our people requested for has been done by his excellency. This edition will be much improved, i as their representative will make sure i use everything within my power with the help of the Governor who has done extremely well for us, to make sure many of it are given attention in the 2017 budget, i will make sure our people gets what they deserved in terms of developmental project, thank God we have a listening Governor”Many of the leaders who witnessed the event showered praises on Hon Braimoh for his record so far and urged him to do more for the constituency. Notable among those who witnessed the event is former House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon Jibayo Adeyeye, Former Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu  LG, Chief Mrs Yetunde Arobieke, Deputy State Publicity Secretary, Hon Salami.
