Ekiti 2018: Group Blast Fayose’s Aide Over False Defection Plan, Says, ‘Ojudu Is Running Under APC’

Our attention has been drawn to a propaganda statement released by one Lere Olayinka, an official of Ekiti State Government, a well known fiction writer who spends his past time dishing out tissues of disgraceful lies. In the said self-defeatist release, Mr Olayinka claimed that Senator Ojudu who is the Special Adviser on Political Matters to President Mohammadu Buhari has decamped to the Alliance for Democracy, (AD). Nothing can be further from the truth. As young supporters (all in our teens) of Senator Ojudu’ s aspiration to lead Ekiti State, we never imagined we would find ourselves responding to an adult, Mr Olayinka, who is old enough to be the father of some of us, in this way except he has brought this wrath upon himself. We find this cheap and irresponsible lies appalling.  As young people, it is our aspiration to see older political actors behave in decent and responsible ways. We are shocked that Mr Olayinka appears not to care about his future and the legacy he may leave behind for generations. His actions reflect the character of an unstable person who feasts on dirty politicking with no respect for ethics and moral attributes.   Setting the records as they are, Senator Ojudu has no basis to decamp to the AD. Some of us work with him 24/7. In fact the flag of APC keeps flying in his office up till now and it will remain so. Senator Ojudu has a history of progressive politics spanning over 30 decades. The A PC primary is yet to be conducted and it is on record that Senator Ojudu has no flirtatious political history unlike Olayinka who lives a promiscuous political life and has spent the past one decade moving from one political party to the other for immediate gains. We caution the public to be aware of many of such propaganda coming out from the stable of Mr Olayinka. This is no doubt borne out of anxiety and intimidation that Senator Ojudu’s imminent entrance into the ring has generated among the reactionary political camps of which Mr Olayinka is one of the Chief undertakers. We  urge Mr Olayinka and his sponsors, if they are to embark on propaganda at all, to do so with some little facts. When a fabricated story is nurtured by infantile imaginations, it portrays the actor as rabidly desperate, trite and it ends up diminishing the quality of political context between Olayinka’ s master, Mr Ayodele Fayose and the long suffering people of Ekiti State, who have made up their mind to push away Mr Fayose and his rogue cells into the dustbin of hstory come July 14.
