EXCITEMENT AS 70 OBAS, DIGNITATIES STORM OGUN TO GRACE GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF ADO MONARCH, OBA ADENIRAN’S RESIDENCE

The city of Ado, a part of Yewa in Ogun State will make history on Saturday 20th February 2021 when it played host to about 70 Monarchs both from Lagos and every part of Ogun State to grace the official launch of an ultra-modern royal edifice to be constructed for the Olofin of Ado–Odo, Oba Lateef Adeniran.

The Monarch who returned to the town December 2020 after been on exile for 7years due to the attack he got from angry youths in 2013 as well as destruction of his palace. The Youths were reportedly protesting outcome of a Court judgment which validates the Oba’s appointment. The situation led to the Oba relocating to Abeokuta since then before his return last December amidst pomp and pageantry as his subjects trooped out to receive him.

The official ground breaking of his new residence which hold on Saturday marks the first major event the First Class Monarch will be hosting after his return, hence, the need to seize the opportunity to celebrate his return with his people as well as his colleagues within and outside the State. According to findings, apart from First Class Obas from Ogun and Lagos State that will be gracing the event, prominent sons and daughters of Ado Odo whom have all put resources together to make sure the day is successful will all witnessed the occasion. The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun will also be represented at the epoch making event.
