Excitement,Funfair As Hon Adedamola Celebrates Birthday, Doles Out Money To Winners Of ‘First Ark Football Competition 2018’

It was fun galore Thursday 29th March 2018 when the First Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu called Ark Football Competition climaxed after weeks of scintillating matches which saw Smart FC defeating Basic FC to clinch the trophy after penalty shootout on a day that coincided with birthday of the Chief Host.

The Competition sponsored by the amiable youthful Politician and Honorable member representing Ikeja Constituncy 11 at the Lagos State House of Assembly Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu was put together to discover more young football talent as well as engage them to keep them off the street. The competition saw a total of 32 teams across the constituency participated in total to the delights of football fans within and outside the constituency who throng the RVTC Mini Stadium in Isheri, Ojodu Berger.

The Final match which attracted some former Super Eagles stars including Dosu Joseph, Gbenga Okunowo as well as many party Chieftains of All Progressive Congress APC in the constituency saw Hon Adedamola reeling out his plans for youths in the area as well as what Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is doing to scale up youth education, empowerment as well as sport development in the State.

“This competition is going to be annually, next year edition will be bigger than this it is our resolve that we will always engage the youths in all we are doing because we all are the future of this State”

At the end of the competition, Hon Adedamola who is the Chairman House Committee on Youth, Sport & Social Development presented a Cheque of N250,000 to the eventual winner, first runner up got N150,000 while the 2nd runner up got N100,000 apart from trophies presented accordingly.
