Fire Razes Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Market

Properties worth millions of naira were on Tuesday destroyed as a section of the popular Ogbe-Ijoh Market in Ogbe-Ijohwent up in flames a fifth time this year.

Although facts of how the fire started at about 5pm were still not available as at the time of filing this report, the Nation learnt that the area of the market affected this time around is the area where dealers in black market petroleum products stock their wares.

However, traders were seen wailing as they helplessly watch their properties, shops and wares being destroyed by the inferno and hoodlums looting some of their stocks from another side.

Efforts made by men of the Delta State Fire Service to quell the inferno were unsuccessful as they ran out of water in the process
