Governor Ahmed Disowns Fake Facebook Accounts

The public is hereby alerted to the existence of fake facebook accounts in the name of the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed and operated by some unscrupulous individuals to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has only two authorized facebook accounts which are https://web.facebook.com/Saimaigida/?fref=ts and https://web.facebook.com/Abdulfatah-Ahmed-121771477889618/…. His Twitter and Instagram accounts are https://twitter.com/AbdulfataAhmed and https://www.instagram.com/alhajiabdulfatahahmed/ respectively.

Any other social media accounts besides the ones listed above are unauthorized and should be disregarded by the public.

Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed does not operate a cash for jobs scheme, neither has he mandated any group or individual to solicit funds under any guise. Also, the Kwara State government has recognised platforms for job creation and economic empowerment of citizens at no cost.

The public is therefore urged to disregard the fake social media accounts whose details have been passed to security agencies with instructions to apprehend the perpetrators for prosecution
