It wasn’t just a holy mood or atmosphere on the 24th of March 2025 at the 3rd edition of  Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji Annual Ramadan Lecture, but also rains of encomium for the late eminent Nigerian and Market Leader whom the event was put together in her honor by the Deputy Majority Leader of Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Moshood Richard Kasunmu fondly known as (ARK).

The event held held inside Lagos Television Premises, attracted not only Muslim faithfuls but lots of Political leaders and associates of Hon Kasunmu in Ikeja and environs. This year’s edition was divided into two parts, while Dr Abdul Lateef Shekoni , Deputy Registrar, Lagos State university & Chief Missioner Istijabah Foundation (ISMUF) delivered the first Lecture in English with the topic Strengthening Community Bond To Foster a sense of unity & togetherness beyond Ramadan, the second Lecture was delivered by Imam Olohungbebe Soliu Ibrahim, a Deputy Director & Imam Lagos State Secretariat Mosque, Alausa.

Giving his opening remarks, Hon Kasunmu spoke glowingly on the spirit of the holy month, urging Muslims to be prayerful, seek all goodies that Allah has made abundance for whoever observed the fast as prescribed my Almighty Allah. While speaking, the Lawmaker eulogies her late Grandmother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji. ” everyone here agrees she was a mother for all, she couldn’t bear seeing anyone in sad mood during her lifetime, she will be ready to spread all largesse brought to her with everyone. My grand mother cared for all and we could do now is to continue doing all we could in her honor in form of prayer for her repose”

The Guest lecturers both spoke glowingly on unity, extending good behaviors beyond  the period of Ramadan since that is was Allah enjoined us to always do. They also took turns to offer special prayers for Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mogajis Family. Lagos State House of Assembly, Lagos State Government, Late Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson and Ikeja Constituency as a whole.
