HON. KASUNMU VISITS OJODU LCDA GOVERNMENT _….Received Rousing Welcome_
Ojodu LCDA Chairman, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku*, the entire EXCO and Councillors of Ojodu LCDA gave *Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK)* a rousing welcome to the Council Secretariat yesterday, 5th May 2022.
Hon. Kasunmu’s visit, which is his first since the inception of this present Ojodu LCDA Administration, was in continuation of his consultative visits to leaders and stakeholders across Ikeja Constituency 2.
It was an atmosphere of excitement as the hardworking Council Boss welcomed Hon. ARK to his office.
In his address to the Council officials, Hon. Kasunmu thanked the Chairman and his entire team for making out time to receive him despite their busy schedule. While commending the Chairman for doing a fantastic job in Ojodu LCDA so far, Hon. Kasunmu also Congratulated the newly sworn-in EXCOS and wished them success in the tasks ahead.
Also at the occasion, the lawmaker representating Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly reeled out his SCORECARD, which included Bills and motion sponsored, job opportunities provided, physical projects, road repairs facilitated, covid-19 intervention, transportation empowerment, business support, and many others. H
He then seized the opportunity to officially inform Ojodu LCDA authority under the leadership of Hon. Odunmbaku, that he will be seeking reelection to Lagos State House of Assembly to represent Ikeja Constituency 2 once again on the platform of APC.
Speaking further in his address, Hon. ARK reiterated the fact that having an experienced and knowledgeable lawmaker to represent the constituency is the fastest way of attracting massive benefits and development to the constituency and the people.
He therefore requested for the consent and support of the Ojodu LCDA government to return to Lagos State House of Assembly once again in 2023, promising to deliver more excellent representation if given the opportunity.

Former leader of the House, Hon. Wasiu Seidun,.welcomed Hon.ARK to the Council and also drew the attention of the lawmaker to the lingering issue of boundary adjustment between Lagos and Ogun states around Berger and Yakoyo area and requested Hon. ARK to look into it, using his office as the Chairman House Committee on Lands.
In his response , the Council Chairman, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku welcomed Hon. Kasunmu once again and thanked him for the visit.
The Chairman gave his blessing to Hon. ARK and wished him well as seeks to run for office again. He also called for a better collaboration and cordial relationship between the Assembly man office and the council.
After the meeting ended with prayers at the Chairman’s office, Hon. Apatira and all his Colleagues led Hon. Kasunmu to the Legislative Chamber.
At the Chamber, the Ojodu lawmakers gave Hon.ARK a Senior Colleague’s welcome and appreciated him for his support for the Legislative arm at the grassroots.
They expressed total support for his 2023 reelection bid.
The meeting in the Chamber lasted for over one hour and various issues were discussed.

The Chairman, SLG, House Leader and the Councillors later appended their signatures on Kasunmu’s Nomination form.
At the premises of the Council Secretariat, Hon. ARK took time out to interact with a massive gathering of youths before zooming off.
It was indeed a very fruitful and successful visit.
