Insecurity: Senate Backs Reps To Summon Buhari For Joint Session

The Senate has supported the House of Representatives to summon President Muhammadu Buhari for a Joint Session with National Assembly over insecurity in the country.

The Senate decision was sequel to a motion sponsored by Senator George Akume, who expressed dissatisfaction with the continued unbated killings in Benue State since January.

Akume lamented that despite the military presence, there is no end to the wanton killings.
