Kalu Celebrates With Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir , Urges Spiritual Upliftment

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has urge Muslims in Nigeria to see this period of Eid-el-Kabir celebration as sober reflection and spiritual rebirth. In his message posted on his verified social media page, the former Abia State Governor admonished Muslims to embrace teachings in the holy Qu’ran especially  as it related to this period.

I join our muslim brothers and sisters across the globe in celebrating Eid-el-Kabir.
It is a special season for sober reflection and spiritual rebirth.Let us embrace the teachings of the holy Qu’ran and exemplary life of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) in our daily activities.

The acts of alms giving, generosity, love, togetherness and service to humanity should be embraced by all and sundry in order to make the world a better place.We must shun violence and social vices in our daily lives.

As we mark this occasion, I urge the Muslim ummah to pray for leaders at all levels of government
