Kalu Debunks Quit Notice To FFK: ‘I Don’t Abandon My Friends In Trying Times’
Prominent Businessman and Former Governor of Abia State Dr Orji Uzor Kalu as debunked the rumour in some section of the media that he has given quit notice to the embattled Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode to vacate his Asokoro Mansion in Abuja immediately after he was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.
OUK as he his fondly called spoke to us in a telephone conversation that “it is absolutely incorrect to say I removed Femi from my house, Femi his a personal friend, we have known each other for the past 40years, I couldn’t have do that.” While urging people to disregard such story from mischief makers , the Chairman of Slok Group, a business Conglomerate says ” I don’t abandon my friends, not even in a trying period, he’s my friend for life. If you want to know, I can allow Femi to live in any of my house for a decade without paying that is for you to know the extent of how close we are, so there is no iota of truth in it” he concluded. FFK is presently in the anti-graft agency’s detention in relation to the alleged N840million he received from Hajia Nenadi Usman from the oil Money Mrs Diezani Alison-Maduekwe deposited at Fidelity Bank and used for PDP campaign in 2015 General election.
