Keep Singing With The Angels, Sweet Mother, Chief (Mrs) Olukemi Nelson
“All the world is a stage, and all men and women are mere players. We have our exits and our entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts.”… Williams Shakespeare.
Dearest Yeye, One year ago, you finished your parts on the stage of life and took an exit.
Your exit was sudden, unexpected and disheartening at the time, yet it was glorious, great and graceful, for you went home to be with the Lord in a blaze of glory
.
It is still hard to believe it is already a year since you left us and we truly wish you were still here, but we have come to realize that your exit was indeed a divine design.
I want to personally seize this opportunity of your one year remembrance anniversary to thank you most sincerely for all you did, not just for me alone but also for thousands of your sons and daughters out here.
You were not just a loving mother, you were an amazing counselor, a great guiding angel, a powerful pillar of support and dependable defender and advocate.
You stood by me, you stood with me and you stood for me. I will forever be grateful.
As we commemorate the one year anniversary of your transition to timelessness today, time flies, but we celebrate your vision, purpose, legacy and undeniable impact at both family, political, governmental , community and societal levels.
You came, you saw, you fought, you won and remain victorious forever.
Keep singing with the Angels just as you loved doing while here with us. Keep resting in the Bossom of the Lord, Iya mi Ashake Okin, Omo Olode ide. We will forever miss you!
Your son
