Kenya Hosts Apostle Suleman, Govt Officials Attend Crusade
“I feel at home” was the word uttered by Apostle Johnson Suleman who appeared amazed at the reception accorded to him, his wife and entourage during their two-day apostolic conference tagged ‘Victory’ crusade held in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi city, between the 15th and 16th of February, 2023.
Kenya has a history of welcoming Church of God people from across the country and around the world. It was the Omega Fire Ministries leaders’ second tour to the Eastern Africa nation in five years; the last was in May 2018. This year, as usual, the country extended a warm welcome to Suleman, an anointed leader from Nigeria whose visionary preaching, compelling teaching, loving shepherding, and brave style regularly cause a spiritual stir globally.
In those two days that Apostle Suleman held the Kenyan nation down with his revolutionary teachings and spiritual impartations, it was so clear that the Kenyan audience genuinely craved a fresh new life, given the awesome testimonies that trailed the services; souls surrendered to Jesus Christ and indicated recommitments, and many followed Jesus’ example in baptism.
With his trademark calm and soothing demeanor, the ‘Restoration Apostle’ and his beautiful wife, Reverend Lizzy Suleman were later hosted to a brief ceremony by. His hosts who all attended the crusade include the wife of Kenyan deputy president, Pastor (Mrs.) Dorcas Rigathi; vice president of Liberia, Mrs. Jewel Taylor; chief of staff to Kenyan president and head of public service, Hon Felix Koskei, and the first lady of Kenya Mrs. Rachel Ruto.
Elucidating the spirit of his pastoral trips around the globe, Apostle Suleman remarked that the essence of gospel is not local, not tribal, not parochial and not limited to any one tribe or class or ethnicity or language or culture; “It is intended to be spread throughout the whole world in order to underline the fact that there is a great, glorious creator behind it who is not a tribal deity.
