Members of Youth Arise Forum have thrown their weight behind the candidature of Femi Saheed for the forth coming Oct. 31st bye-elections. Femi Saheed who was before now the Assistant State Secretary of the All Progressives Party in Lagos was unanimously adopted as the party’s consensus candidate for the forth coming elections. Recall the seat was declared vacant after the demise of the eloquent Barr. Tunde Braimoh on Friday, 10th July, 2020.
Speaking at the endorsement ceremony, the forum President, Tosin Ogundipe reiterated the need to always be determined to pay a price before receiving a prize.
” I understand about fifteen (15) aspirants showed intentions to replace the late Barr. Tunde Braimoh. The party in its supremacy unanimously adopted a consensus candidate to quell and douse any chaos or pandemonium that may arise from the conduct of a primary elections. Apparently, everyone who made the jostle list are pretty qualified for the seat but only one can be presented as candidate of the party.  Mr. Femi Saheed has toiled rigorously throuch thick and thin with the party. His loyalty to a chosen course is second to none. His simplicity and unflamboyant lifestyle is worthy of emulation.
To affirm their support for the campaign, the forum donated banners, posters and jingles.”
In response, the candidate, Hon. Femi Saheed promised to do everything within his power stop youth restiveness and emancipate the youth by sponsoring bills that will bring about job creation and employment opportunities.
