Lagos East: APC Senatorial Candidate, Osinowo Unveils Campaign Buses

The All Progressives Congress, APC Senatorial Candidate for Lagos East, Bayo Osinowo has unveiled campaign buses for use in the sixteen local governments making up the district.

The specially designed camapaign buses were handed over to his coordinators in the local governments, during a ceremony at his campaign office situated at Plot 560, Ikorodu road, Lagos.

The senatorial candidate said the buses would aid mobilization for all the party’s candidates at all levels.

“Electioneering period comes with a lot of activities, hence, we must be prepared to ensure a hitch free campaign exercise, as the vehicles are strategic in our bid to mobilize and convey our supporters” 

Also speaking, the Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Osinowo Campaign Organization, Tunde Braimoh described the distribution exercise as an avenue “to exploit to the fullest the mass awareness of the party’s candidate in the district through outdoor campaign activities.”

Braimoh, who is also a contestant in the forthcoming elections, is seeking a second term to represent the  people of Kosofe Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

He posited that the senatorial candidate is a good product that will deliver and give the people a better representation. 

In the same vein, he called on the electorate across the district to see their support for Osinowo candidacy as a harbinger to attract more federal presence in the district

On his part, the coordinator of the  Independent Campaign Group, Babajide Olushola  Sanwo-Olu, Lagos East, Mayor Dele Oshinowo noted that “the customisation on each vehicle is unique, as it  reflects the party’s candidate in each local government.”

He added that with the  Public Address System, the populace are in for a good time,  most especially in the rural communities.

He stressed that the vehicles will provide an opportunity for the  programmes and policies of the party’s candidates to be echoed to everyone in the district, as the measure will attract more votes for the party.

He said ‘Today’s distribution of vehicles is symbolic for a senatorial election,it is the first of its kind, and the essence is to ensure we tap into the available strategies to propagate our party’s  candidates ” 

” While the power of the print, electronic and  social media platforms are unique to propagate, this opportunity to customize vehicles fitted with Public Address System will not only help, but it will connect the campaigns to the rural communities, covering all the nooks and crannies of the district”

Also speaking, one of the coordinators, Alaba Saliu assured the senatorial candidate that they will make a good use of the vehicles, in line with the purpose they are meant to serve.
