Lagos LG elections: APC adopts Mayor Dele Osinowo for second term

In what appears to be a consolidation on a creditable first term performance, the All Progressives Congress, APC has adopted Mayor Dele Osinowo for a second term in office. The council boss was the only aspirant who purchased and submitted the expression of interest and nomination forms of the APC from Agboyi-Ketu.
His candidature was unveiled during the party’s LGA meeting which held at Plot 42, Doyin Omololu street, off Oriola, Alapere. Party bigwigs present at the venue included Chief S.A Oyedele, Omooba Ladejobi, Hon. Femi Saheed, Hon. Abiodun Akhigbe, Hon. Tunji Ilelaboye, Hon. Christy Otuyalo, Hon. Abiodun Salami. Others are the leader of House, Hon Tajudeen, serving ward councillors, ward chairmen and a host of party faithfuls.
LGA party chairman, Sunday Odekomaya  was ecstatic about the candidature of the personality chairing the affairs of AgboyiKetu. He expressed no surprise as he was certain Mayor Dele Osinowo will continue to deliver  democracy goodies to the citizens of the LCDA.
Odekomaya further enthused that his uncommon spirit of inclusion, which is to carry all political interests along at the same time has made it so easy for him to enjoy this rare status in the present political game quaking  across the 57 local governments in the State.
In a show of appreciation, the chairman thanked the party hierarchy for finding him worthy to get the party’s ticket for a second term in office, saying that the wisdom knowledge, and understanding being used to pilot affairs of the LCDA successfully can only come from God.
In addition, he expressed confidence and boasted about the party’s chances at the polls come July 24.
Mayor Dele further restated his administration’s commitment to do more in providing effective leadership, and continue the good works his administration started three years and ten months ago.
The highpoint of the occasion was the unveiling of the chairman, and  consensus councillorship candidates by the leadership of the party in the LCDA.
Flanked by Elder Stephen Oyedele, Hon. Femi Saheed, Hon. Biodun Alhigbe, Hon Sunday Odekomaya, the chairman and candidate of the party became the cynosure of all eye. His unveiling was greeted with resounding admiration from the crowd who cheered on with victorious songs.
