Leukaemia: Joe Hart Visit Carl Ikeme

The support for Carl Ikeme has continue to come in this week – as Joe Hart visited the Wolves goalkeeper.

The news of Ikeme being diagnosed with Leukaemia has rocked the world of football – and players around the world have backed the Nigerian international.

Goalkeepers from across a number of leagues have also showed their support for their positional compatriot.

Ex-Wolves man, Matt Murray, disclosed this on his twitter handle.

“The big man @Carl_Ikeme had another member of the keepers union too pop by!

“Joe Hart is the latest glovesman to back Ikeme,” he tweeted.

Ikeme himself tweeted his thanks for the backing he’s received since his diagnosis, which was made following an abnormal blood test result taken ahead of pre-season training.

The club is offering their continued support to Ikeme, confirming that he will keep the number one jersey at Molineux this season.
