Making his speech during an interactive session at the meeting, Azubogu stated that he is running to lead the new development strategy for Anambra State because the future of Anambra Development cannot be discussed without recognizing development potentials in Omambala area of the state.
His words:
“Any society with a thriving economic activity hardly box herself into communal unrest and we have to pursue a new economic window for Omambala as a means of resolving communal unrest within the zone and also growing the state economy.
My strive is to restore peace in this great LGA and the entire Omambala area that are critical to our state growth. When we activate the economy, nobody will talk about the communal crisis, rather everyone will be busy with economic activities. We must end all form of inter-communal disputes within Omambala and Anambra.”
