Odumakin Calls For Passage Of Traditional Health Care Bill, As Centre For Change Honours Quincy Ayodele

It was a great atmosphere couple of days ago when beautiful CEO behind Quincy Herbals, Dr Mrs Quincy Ayodele was honored by popular and fearless Human Rights Activist Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin’s   Center for Change. The event which took place on the 6th of April inside the organization’s office in Omole, Lagos saw the Non-Governmental Organization honoring Dr Ayodele with Amazon Ambassador for Women Arise due to her prolific contribution to health care system and development of African Traditional Medicine in Africa.

Dr Odumakin who praises the resilient urge of Mrs Ayodele in the industry despite some negative belief of some few over the efficacy of traditional medicines says ” we are very proud of you that you have contributed greatly to the development of of Traditional medicine in Africa and you have maintained top level quality services for over two decades. You have shown you are a distinguished woman against all odds, that is why we are recognizing you today”

 

Mrs Quincy who have in her entourage to the event, Managing Director of Quincy Herbals, Tobi-Ayodele-Keeney who incidentally is her daughter was full of appreciation for the organization and Dr Odumakin. In her words ” i have always admire you from afar, your fearless nature which is solely for the rights of Nigerians is highly commendable. You have written your name in gold already as a renowned activist acknowledged within and outside the country. Its quite touching and rewarding to know that i have made so much impact for our industry to the extent that people have noticed in the last 20 years, am just doing what i believe in for the good health care of our people” The World Health Organization [WHO] Expert Committee Member on Development of African Traditional Medicine used the opportunity to call on the organization to use their advocacy platform to clamour for the passage of the Traditional Medicine Bill still at the National Assembly that she and some few others put together to sanitize and help the industry grow which will in turn generate huge money to the country’s purse.
