Ogun 2019: Akinlade Heeds To Clarion Call, May Rejoin APC This Week

Strong Indications has emerged that barring any last minute changes, one of the most prospect to clinch the Governorship seat of Ogun State come 2019 Hon Ishaq Akinlade may have concluded plans to rejoin the Progressives by aligning with the ruling Party, All Progressives Party APC in the State.   Information at our disposal has it that, the three-time former Federal House of Representatives member representing Ipokia/Yewa-South Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Science & Technonology has been wooed by leadership of APC to return to where he belongs especially as the Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has thrown his weight behind Ogun-West producing the next Governor of the State. Akinlade whom we learnt may have finally concluded plans to officially announce his defection this week has been oiling his very powerful machineries across the State, holding meetings with Stakeholders, not only with APC but thousands of PDP members that will go along with him to join the Progressives. It will be recalled that Akinlade, the Baba-Adinni of Yewa-land celebrated his 50th birthday recently with huge presence of government of Governor Amosun honoring him as part of them . Meanwhile, There are insinuation in the State that, APC and Governor Amosun may have resolved to choose between the current Chief of Staff, Tolu Odebiyi and Hon Akinlade as we approach 2019 Ogun Governorship election
