Ogun Finance Commissioner, Dapo Okubadejo Assures Residents of Even Development, Inspects Road Projects In Ijebu-Ode LG

Hon. Oladapo Abd-Rahaman Okubadejo, Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor on Saturday, January 18, 2025 embarked on an inspection tour of all the ongoing infrastructure projects across Ijebu Ode local government area of the state.

The road projects includes construction of Ondo road, Imoru Road, Omotayo Omo Owo/ General Hospital Road, Awokoya Road, Ereko- Moborode Road, Igbeba Road and Talbot / Eid praying ground Road.

The level of construction activities going on in Ijebu Ode now is unprecedented, Thanks to The Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, for his visionary leadership and commitment to social economic development in all parts of Ogun state

The importance of these township roads can not be over emphasized. It improves the value of real estate in the area while also enhancing easy access, trade and improving lives of our people. This is truly dividends of democracy.

Describing the road as a transformative infrastructural project, the Chief Economic Adviser highlighted its potential to significantly boost the state’s economic landscape.

“When completed, the roads will enhance connectivity, promote trade, and strengthen social ties within the local government, ultimately improving the lives of our people,” he remarked.

The Commissioner who is also the Chairman Of The Project Steering Committee on Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP) led the Project Coordinator Mrs Mosunmola Owo-Odusi and her Team to inspect the rehabilitation ongoing at the Government Science and Technical College Ijebu Ode, a project which is also a testament to the determination towards ensuring conducive and safe learning environment for students across the state by this present administration. OGSTEP in Partnership with World Bank is currently rehabilitating eight Government Technical Colleges across the State amongst other interventions.

With the Commissioner for the inspections are: Commissioner for Agriculture Hon Bolu Owotomo, Executive Chairman of Ijebu Ode Hon. Dare Alebiosu, Vice Chairman Hon. Titi Adeyemi, Chairman Governing Council,
Federal Polytechnic, Isouchi, Abia State Hon. Oduwole Sulaiman, S.A to the Governor of Local Government and Chieftaincy tittle, Hon. Rasak Daddah.
