Omatek Boss, Florence Seriki Dies Of Cancer
Mrs. Florence Seriki (MFR), Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director of Omatek Ventures Plc is dead.
According to information available to the media , Mrs. Seriki died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) on Friday, March 3, 2017.
Mrs Seriki, a notable entrepreneur and industrialist, started Omatek Ventures Plc over 20 years ago.
According to information available to INDEPENDENT Mrs. Seriki, who died of cancer was an engineer by training, and was the founder and chief executive officer of the first completely knocked down computer factories in Nigeria and Ghana.
Seriki was a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Nigerian Computers Society (NCS) and the Institute of Directors.
She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University).
