In fulfillment of his commitment to transform the infrastructural level of the local government and provide amenities that improve the living standard of the residents, the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede is not resting on his oars towards ensuring that he leaves a lasting legacy that would benefit even the coming generations.

The drainage system of Alade Street that was flagged off few weeks ago is progressing, nearing completion with residents attesting to the quality of job done to ensure free flow of water.

Recall that the council chairman had directed a total overhauling of the old drainage with construction of new one to ensure free flow of waste channel.

After the completion of the drainage system, the reconstruction of the road will commence.

A resident, who identified himself as Mr. Ramon Soliu eulogized the council chairman for the massive ongoing project while praying for God’s continued strength for the chairman.

He said; “We are happy at the level of job done by our chairman, Kendoo. Look at how long this street is and the chairman is reconstructing the gutter from the beginning to the end. The old gutter has damaged and when it rains, the place is an eye sore. The iron rods and other materials being used are satisfactory. May Allah bless the chairman”.

The resurfacing of Araromi Street in Shogunle has been completed, the distilling of the canals has been done, the expansion of Olori street and construction of drainage system is progressing as well as other areas where developmental works are ongoing.
