Oshodi-Isolo LG puts smiles on faces of residents, set to distribute palliatives
The amiable and responsible government of Oshodi-Isolo LG, under the chairmanship of Otunda Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, is set to put smiles on the faces of residents of the local government by providing palliatives for them.
Due to the current hardship occasioned by the ripple effect of fuel subsidy removal, the chairman of the LG government in his usual manner listened to the yearnings of the people and put plans in place to unveil palliatives and other measures aimed at cushioning the adverse effects of the subsidy removal on the residents of the local government.
The plan of the local government was made known by the chairman via a press release by his media office where it was revealed that the council chairman empathized with the residents on the current economic situation and assured them that plans are in top gear towards the intervention of the local government.
Otunba Oloyede, further posited that the people of Oshodi-Isolo, should have faith in the Tinubu’s administration, noting that the current hardship is only a pathway to a successful and prosperous Nigeria.
He said; “I want to associate with our people and empathize with them on the current economic situation we are all facing. The current pains are a pathway to a prosperous Nigeria and the Federal, State and Local Governments are working towards bringing an end to it as soon as possible.
“On our part and being a responsive government, efforts are in top gear towards a palliative intervention that will be far reaching within our local government and that would cushion the hardship being experienced by our people. We are currently perfecting our plans and in the coming weeks, we will unveil the program and the modalities. I want to implore our people to remain calm, this phase will surely pass and our dear country will be better for it.”
