OTUNBA BESTMAN NZE JUMBO ADVISES PARENTS BASED ON CURRENT NIGERIA ECONOMY

The situation of the country isn’t so appalling at the moment but however parents need to improvise to make ends meet with families and friends.

The pressure of school fees is killing many parents in Nigeria and more often than not is affordable. When I brought back my kids from South Africa, I enrolled them in an expensive private school in Abuja but the stress of school fees was very tough on me as I couldn’t meet up with payments. The pride of “my kids attend BRITISH ROYAL OAK SCHOOL” made me keep running kirakita but the effect wasn’t nice on me health wise.

I eventually pulled them out after conducting thorough research on public schools in Lagos and Abuja.

I enrolled them in a public school in Abuja and got private teachers coming to take them at home and this reduced my stress very drastically because i understand brilliancy isn’t taught in school but in-built.

I even opened bank accounts for the kids and part of the money I was paying to the private school went in there.

They made GCE and Scored good grades in JAMB while in SS classes and today they are doing great academically.

My encouragement is, let’s be alive for these kids by reducing the burden and pressure private school fees have placed on us as parents.

Public schools in some parts of the country have produced some of the best brains in Nigeria such as his excellency GCFR, President Bola Hammed Tinubu and his excellency Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to mention but few.

I know too many people almost falling into depression because of school fees in private schools for their kids. Forget pride and stay alive for these kids, pull them out of those schools inducing high blood pressure (HBP) in you and enroll them in public schools but get a private teacher to also come take them at home, there’s no shame in it.

This is my life saving advise. Na me Irumole talk am.
