PDP Planning To Deployed Thugs To Polling Units In Taraba- Danladi.

The governorship candidate of the all progressive congress APC Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danladi said the recent attack in Wukari on his campaign convoy is part of plans to deploy hardened thugs to all polling unit in the state by the People Democratic Party, PDP.

Danladi in statement sign by the DG Sani Abubakar danladi gubernatorial campaign organization, canpiagn organization, comrade Bobboi Bala kaigama, said the pdp led state government has also completed the training of over one thousand thugs in the name of anti –open –grazing marshals.

The Wukari attack was carried out by these marshals using arms bought by the state government.

Kaigama said the APC is not surprised because under PDP Taraba has held any election devoid of rigging thuggery and intimidation of electorate.

He said the people of Taraba state are tired of this vicious cirlcle of violence and are poised to change the narrative through a peaceful election means.

As the biggest party in Taraba state at the moment we shall continue to preach our massive supporters of to eschew all forms of violence. This comment is far greater than signing peace document just to fulfill righteousness without implementation.:

Kaigama responding to press conference was organized by PDP director of publicity kola Ologbondian on the political violence in Taraba state said the PDP is only attempting to cover up waylaying attacking , robbing and destroying vehicles belonging to APC convoy which was on transit to lbi.

Kaigama said the PDP however contradicted themselves as they gave yet another version from the one earlier offered by governor Darious Ishaku.

While the governor claimed it was clash between apc and UDP the pdp spokesperson who was not at the scene  of the crisis declared that they were aggrieved party because APC supporters were destroying pdp billboard all the way to wukari, shamelessly claiming that APC shot their way into the town.

He said that both the police and the DSS office in Wukari remain witness that we were attack without provocation. We were attack in front of their offices driving peaceful on the road.

Kiagama said political rally could not have taken place on the road in front of the office of the police area command and so there could not have been any clash with another rival political party at that point.

“as a responsible party, APC will neither threaten anyone nor resort to violence under any circumstance. We will continue to go every corner of the state taking the message of change, peace and development to our people. We will never militarize our state by arming the youth to maim and kill.. besides, APC  is not in government in Taraba state and therefore canot afford to buy arms for criminal gangs. It is the PDP administration that has been taking tough, and threatening  and sending a clear messages of their intention to sponsor violence and militarizing the fourth coming elections as means of escaping defeat, kaigama said.
