 Q After the election what do you think is the next step for everybody?

Ans  The next step is for people to setle down, Nigerians are very anxious on what this government will do, but we need to give the government some time. However, my Party, the APC must do everything humanly possible to pacify Nigerians in terms of providing the basic needs for the people, we all shouted change, the change is here, by 2019 we will have to excuse if we didnt deliver

Q Bu so far what could you pick from the federal government in terms of performance?

Ans  I think it a bit early to start judging the President, we a month plus is too shot but i also believe the President must hit the ground running because he has the experience even though the scenario is quite difference, we are in a democratic government now, am sure he will do well, we must give the President time as well as Governor Ambode, we must give him time to settle down. If you have not been in government , its easy to criticize and say many things, we must realise that its not easy running a government i dont have any doubt tha both of them will do well.

Q  Having being a part of former Governor Babatunde Fashola government during his first time, what are some of the things you thing the present government should imbibe and build on?

Ans   I think the Former Governor left handover notes which the incumbent will definitely find very useful to work and build on. The Present Governor was part of the former government, before he left , so he his well informed about how government works. Though everybody has its own method of operating but government still runs thesame way, so i dont doubt that Ambode will follow up on projects that are on ground and add his own to it

Q If you wanted to be specific on some things that need urgent attention in the state what would that be?

Ans  If am not too selfish, the Lagos East Senatorial district which i comes from need urgent attention even though every other parts of the states need as well, of cause Governor Fashola did well during his term, especially the Ikorodu division is becoming very large, thee is a lot that needs to be done in terms of infrastructure.  The past government gave is the roads that leads to Ikorodu now from Mile 12, i was passing through the road recently and i remember the first day i was taken through the road , i was like 5years old then, the road was very tiny, bushes everywhere, one-lane for each going and coming, now the story is different but we still need to buld on that, all Ikorodu environs need better infrastructure because of the way people are trooping in to make the place their home

Q Many felt the former Governor set a very huge standard that would be difficult for subsequent governors to beat, whats your take on that?

Ans  There is no doubt that the former Governor set good standard, if we dont acknowledge it the rest of the country does, even people from the other Part recognized that, but i have no doubt that Ambode is a very good intelligent young man who will definitely lived up to expectation

Q  Now that the election is over, we are seeing grumbling all around from people jusling for political positions, even those that your Party believe did little or nothing for the success of the party, how do you think this will be iron our, dont you see it destabilizing APC both at the State and National?

Ans People will definitely lobbly for positions because this is politics, its so painful that, even people that does not contribute to the success of the party will be the one claiming wolf where there is none, but the Leaders know the contribution of everybody. For some of us , its about fighting for my people so that, many of our young once will not be jettison in the scheme of things because the fought hard for the Party. I didnt even come to the picture until the time of ACN , there are many young qualified members who have remain faithful, who had stepped down for colleagues in the past, even those who have P.hd, qualified Lawyers, accountants and have contributed to development of Ikorodu, this are the people we want the Part to consider first.

Q The last position you held in Lagos State was Secretary to the State Government, if you are called upon for any position either in the State or National level will you take it up?

Ans I will but sincerely my first concern is to see some of this our young qualified members fixed up am saying it with all sense of responsibility, am not one of those who will wait until some members will say it to your presence that all the elders should go and die for them to take up their positions, we must encourage our young members and let them get benefits of their work and that is what am particular about

Q Do you believe just like some people that the personality of President Buhari is already working for the country even without no cabinent in place?

Ans  That is the truth, his body language tells you that he does not want corrupt individual in his government and if you know that you must sit up. It will take time to fight corruption and get good result but he has started on a very good scale. Apart from that , people want to improve their standard of leaving and one of the things we all need now is constant power supply.If you calculate amount people spent on diesel or petrol to generate their own power supply is too much, that is why cost of businesses are high, hence it cant compete with imported goods. Some people have even died because their industry closes down,there standard of leaving dropped that they could feed family again, so we cant continue like this, we must salvage this country

Q  Do you support the Oil Subsidy removal?

Ans Though am not in that industry, but what we need is to explain very well to our people on what it entails, the benefits of removing subsidy and the adverse effect if its still there, a lot of people do not understand what its all about. Nigerians are resilient people, things are gradually changing now, i believe if people are well informed we will get good result, everywhere in the world people make scrifices for the country to get better, after making these sacrifices we will be the one ones to enjoy it our our children but it must start from somewhere. In countries that are not even up to Nigeria they wake up turn on their tap they get water, switched on their light and get power, its not like that here. That is why am happy with one of the plans of APC which is feeding of pupils, it will create lots of employment , it has been tried in many countries including india and it works

Q what is your vision for Ikorodu,Lagos State and Nigeria at large?

Ans  Am more particular about Ikorodu because charity starts at home,i want a situation where we will have access to many things, especially infrastructure which will boost business activities around here, we want Ikorodu to be well represented in government, a lot of prominent Ikorodu born personality contributed to the development of this state and Country, we need job for our people just like every other areas in the State and Nigeria at large.

Q  How do you get to relax?

Ans Am a lover of films and books, and i enjoy being with with friends sharing jokes and laughing. But this days , i have more passion for some beautiful films from our Nollywood like the ‘Phone-swap’ it was a lovely films, so refreshing, it was a world class. I really feel happy that our film industry has gone to that level, i want the government to look inwards more and invest more in this industry, it has provided lots of job for people

Q But piracy has indeed deprive many of this producers benefits of their works?

Ans i agree with you, this is an area the government must fight for the people in the industry, its so sad that they will spend millions to produce film and some people will sit down somewhere ready to pirate the films, there must be a clampdown on these people because this actors cannot enforce the law on their own, the government must do it for them
