Primate Ayodele to Host UN 75th Anniversary Flag-Off Ceremony, Empower 2,500 Persons Feb 14
Primate Elijah Ayodele is ranked among charitable African men of God not just because he preaches redemption on the pulpit, he is one of those regularly mentioned also because he is found to be practicing what he preaches, which is evident in his various humanitarian interventions.
In various ways, Ayodele has touched, and still does, lives locally and internationally through his ministry. The rebranded humanitarian arm of his ministry, Inri Widows Foundation (IWF), has projects catering for the needs of widows, widowers, the aged, the physically challenged and orphans. It is, therefore, not unexpected, that his ministry, INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Isolo, Lagos, has continued to draw interests from far and near, even beyond the shores of Africa.
On Friday, February 14, 2020, Primate Ayodele would be hosting a United Nations delegation at his church premises. The event that will herald the official flag-off ceremony of the 75th anniversary of the UN, it was gathered, will be graced by eminent personalities from within and outside Nigeria. The guest list includes the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; Maiyegun of Yorubaland, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall; top government functionaries, businesspersons, movie and music stars, among others.
Characteristics of the famous prophet, he would also be using the occasion to empower over 2000 people.
”I will be empowering 1000 widows, 1000 youths and I will be giving out JAMB and WAEC forms to indigent students,” declared the cleric who had earlier been honoured in November 2019 with the United Nations ‘Eminent Ambassador Of Peace’ award, “for his relentless contributions to the society and global humanitarian services and, above all, for being a man of peace.”
For Ayodele, this success feather, and others like it, indeed, have put paid to undesirable stories and signals fresh rounds of glory.
