RAMADAN: SENATOR ADEOLA CALLS FOR URGENT PRAYER FOR NIGERIA, BUHARI

As the Muslim community worldwide begins the month long Ramadan religious observance, Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Lagos West) has urged all faithful to seriously and urgently pray for the peace and progress of Nigeria as well as speedy recovery for President Mohammadu Buhari presently undergoing medical care in London, United Kingdom.

In his message to the Muslim faithful released by his Special Adviser on Media, Kayode Odunaro, Senator Adeola said all adherent of the Islamic faith should use the month long fasting period to reflect on their lives and the true practice of the religion that preaches peace, good neighbourliness, brotherly love and non violence evangelism.

“ We must continually pray for our dear nation to continue on the path of peace, unity and progress and the fasting period presents yet another opportunity for communal supplication to Almighty Allah for solution to our national challenges and for the restoration of good health for our president that is ill” he stated.

Senator Adeola said he is hopeful that as Nigeria marks another milestone in its democratic journey, prayers to Almighty Allah, the sacrifices of fasting by religious groups and diligent hard work will make Nigeria great again.
