Season Goodies: Jimi Benson Fetes Over 1000 Constituents….as party leaders praises his many giant strides

At a point in the season where residents hope to celebrate and be merry despite the year’s anxieties, dwellers in the Ikorodu division were delighted and given reason to smile on the 17th of December 2022.For the over 1,000 constituents that converged at the constituency office of Ikorodu federal lawmaker, Hon. Babajimi Benson (MHR), was an impression of gratitude and satisfaction altogether.
Recognised for his monthly support program, December was not an exception as the legislator embarked on the distribution of 1,000 food bags for Christmas.The scheme was facilitated by his iCare Foundation’s Foodbank, a nonprofit generous organisation that acquires food and grocery stocks, and redistributes the items in a bag called ‘APO AANU or ‘MERCY BAG’ to individuals and vulnerable households.
Beneficiaries which include the young, and old, youth groups, religious assemblages and ethnic bodies in Ikorodu, sprayed JB (as he’s fondly called) with praises, recounting his steadfast norms of providing welfare to his constituents, an act that has endowed thousands of families across the waterbed region of Lagos state.
Leaders in the community has been showering praises on the politician for all his numerous interventions in the constituency since he became their representative at the National Assembly

Hon. BabaJimi Benson, a member of the house of representatives (under the All Progressive Congress umbrella), is presently crusading for a re-election bid to return to the 9th National Assembly come 2023.
Mr David Sunmoni, Pro-Chancellor, Lagos State University, Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo, Chairman Ikorodu Oga Development Association, IKODASS, Bldr Sesan Daini, Chairman, Igbogbo-baiyeku LCDA, Sesan Daini and Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, Chairman Ijede LCDA were among the dignitaries present at the program.
