Ahead the 2023 general elections , a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Femi Saheed has reiterated the need for eligible voters to obtain Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) and exercise their franchise.

Hon. Saheed who represents Kosofe Constituency 2 in the Lagos hallowed chamber made this known at Ikosi-Isheri Local Council office , Lagos, during the 8th Annual Lagos Assembly Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting held simultaneously in all the 40 constituencies across the state on Thursday, 30th June, 2022. The theme for this year’s edition was 2023 General Elections: The Imperatives of Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC.)

The Politician. while speaking admonished eligible constituents that it’s not enough to get their PVC, they should also make judicious use of the PVC by voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates across board in the forthcoming elections.

Our appeal to our people is that they should go and get their PVC, because this is the only way they can exercise their franchise.
“Without your PVC, you cannot really demonstrate your support for your preferred candidates, so, we implore you all to endeavor to get your voters’ card so that we can collectively chose those who will pilot the affairs of our nation going forward.
“It is not enough to get your PVC but to also come out en mass on election day to vote for the right person. I make bold to tell you that the right man to vote for as president in the next election is no other person than Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has the capacity to transform our country to a enviable height.
“We cannot repeat the mistake of the past, we cannot afford to lose this chance of making Asiwaju our next presidential in Nigeria, we should all make this happen.
“In 1983, late Chief Obafemi Awolowo was unable to become Nigeria’s president, also in 1993, late Chief MKO Abiola too couldn’t become Nigeria’s president. There shouldn’t be a repeat of what happened in 1983 and 1993 in 2023, we should all rally round Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become Nigeria’s president in 2023”, he emphasized

The Lawmaker seized the opportunity to promise his constituents better and more qualitative representation in the next assembly while they keep on giving him their supports. He urged all the traditional rulers present at the event to encourage their subjects to register and collect their PVC and also support him as we move into real electioneering period. .
He also used the occasion to appreciate and thank the party leaders and the people of Kosofe 2 for his victory at the last primary election.
